Our Bed Bug Treatment Treatment Methods
We select the most effective approach based on your specific infestation, property, and family situation.
Whole-Room Heat Treatment
The gold standard. We raise the entire room temperature to 120°F+ for several hours, killing all bugs and eggs with no chemicals. Single treatment, extremely effective.
Chemical Protocol
Multi-product chemical treatment using pyrethroid, neonicotinoid, and IGR (insect growth regulator) combinations to kill bugs at all life stages.
Mattress & Furniture Encasements
Professional-grade mattress encasements trap any surviving bugs and protect your investment long-term.
Follow-Up Inspection
We schedule a follow-up visit 14 days post-treatment to confirm elimination and provide re-treatment if needed at no charge.

Bed bug heat treatment: temperatures and timing
Heat kills bed bugs at every life stage, including eggs, which is why whole-room heat treatment is the method most people ask about. University of Minnesota Extension gives the working numbers.
- Bed bugs and their eggs die within 90 minutes at 118°F, or immediately at 122°F.
- During a professional treatment the room air is typically held between 135°F and 145°F, and the job usually takes 6 to 8 hours.
- Pets, and anything that could melt or be damaged at temperatures up to 150°F, come out of the treatment area first.
- Heat leaves no residual protection, so a residual insecticide is often applied along the perimeter afterward. One heat treatment is more likely to be enough than a spray program, which usually takes 2 to 3 visits, but areas that did not reach temperature may need retreatment.
- Don't try it with the thermostat. The EPA warns that raising indoor temperature with a thermostat, propane space heater or fireplace does not work and is dangerous. A clothes dryer on high heat is the safe home use of heat, for bedding and clothes.
